WESLEY PATTERSON
Guitarist | Composer
Wes is a modern guitarist and composer originally from Birmingham, AL. He began performing guitar at age 8, and attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts at age 12. He moved to and graduated from the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, where he received the Interlochen Fine Arts Award for Guitar. He is currently attending the renowned Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, majoring in performance guitar and composition/scoring.
In summer 2025, Wesley toured New York and Portugal as a member of the United States Guitar Orchestra.
His goal is to bring stylistic, contemporary music and compositions to the masses with the use of modern-day instrumentation and digital tools, while maintaining a soft foothold in traditional classical, jazz, blues, and popular music.
